Imperfection.

As i was doing my research for fyp, trying to find some disabled/handicapped children support website, i can't help but notice the imperfection in this world.
There are thousands of different weird diseases we've probably never heard about and probably never want to hear about.
Cleft lip/autism/dyspraxia/prader wili, just to name a few.
Ahh.. It's sad.
I guess we've really all fallen.

Getting flat abs.

And so i didn't know what got into me, but i was very keen on expanding my little 'gym'. Yes, basically my gym consists of my trusty wave hula-hoop and my pair of 2kgs dumbbells. So everynight when i'm watching the 1.35am show, i'll hula for 30 minutes and then do my weights routine. Been pretty happy with the results. However, lazy me never got down to doing my crunches no matter how flabby my tummy got. So...i bought the ab roller yesterday! Woohoo. Now now, this ain't no easy feat. Excited with my new 'toy', i quickly got on my knees when i got home to try out the machine. Blah!I fell flat on my face! <-- getting into position is so tough. Check out those muscles on her arms man! gosh. Anyway, i'm gonna keep trying, till i finally get it right. Then, i'll be able to show off my taut tummy one day while parading in that bikini joanne bought me for christmas. haha.

Running woes.

Sometimes, i really don't get me.
And so, i was feeling guilty thanks to the sumptous spread we had for cellgroup last night. Pizza, sushi, cheesecake, chocolate mousse, garlic bread and chocolates. Yes, a meal loaded with tons of calories. So, motivated me decided to go for a run this morning to burn off those fats.
And run i did.
But when i came back from the run, i was feeling SO healthy, i decided to reward myself. Yes. I had a bag of potato chips. Meaning, at the end of the day, i ate more than i burnt.
What the heck?!
Anyway, my plan to sleep early and wake up early failed today. Shall try again tmr.

The final N114.

And so, today was the last N114 cellgroup meeting before we multiply into two groups. Five years with this bunch of people definately made my world a brighter one. The spiritual family who's the constant pillar of support in my life, i love you all!
Decided to finally upload our last retro christmas party photos. Like what endy said: "Keep in touch" everyone!

 Beautiful, crazy bunch of people i spent christmas eve'06 with.
 If you havent figured, the theme was "Retro night", that's elvis. haha.  Retro to the max!  Sze and I. She went shopping for the dress w me!  The band in action!  I was doing a marilyn monroe!  Retro couple 1, retro pose 1  Retro couple 2, retro pose 2! My fav pic! haha  We had a really sumptous feast! Ham, shrimp, chicken, salad, pie, cakes. yum!  A sit-down affair.  Camerawhore. everyone of us. haha.  Food never looked so gross. yikes. haha.  And then we had the special performances.  Esther's tears inducing song.  And rapper alex in da house!  So whent he clock struck 12, we all said merry christmas. And the log cake was used as my birthday cake too. Haha.  Haiyo, where's the cake?!  Presents!  A shirt! It doesn't really fit though. haha  And the night came to an end with all our christmas gifts! My bagload of wonderful memories with N114.

It can be so bloody exasperating trying to get people to talk to you. ARGHH. Being a reporter is not easy and this fyp is getting on my nerves. Ahh.
Time is running out, running out!
Anyway, i think we all need more sleep. Singaporeans simply stay up way too late! I can't remember the last time i slept before 12am! So so, i am gonna start a new campaign for myself. Gonna trying and hit the sack earlier these days. Sleep early, wake early, be healthy. Yes, those dark rings under my eyes ain't doing good for my complexion.
For those of your yawning at work, get up and stretch about!

And so i am still doing my photo recap. Tons of pictures were taken during december! The bunch below were taken on my birthday celebration with the girls. Hohoho.
Anyways, am having horrendous pms now. You won't believe the thoughts that are going through my mind. I am feeling very little love for everyone right now. But wait, in ten minutes i could jolly well be running around proclaiming my love for everyone. Yes, that's what i call horrendous pmsy mood-swings. Messy messy stuff. Mess with my mind, mess with my life. Why does it get worse the older i get? I don't wanna be a 70 year old grouchy grandma! Yikes. Hey, but i think we stop bleeding at 50 plus, so oh wells. haha.

 So the plan was just to chill out, eat the cakes and then bugger off.
 But somehow, we decided that taking pictures was more important.  And then we got a little crazy. As usual sim was the big attraction. Don't kill me for this! Haha.  Before that, we had my bdae dinner at Sun with Moon! Yummy yum.  The food was delicious i tell ya. 
Taken on the eve of christmas eve. After church, we headed to cindy's place. And then there, they experimented with the drinks. haha.

1st day of school.

I can't believe it. The holidays is officially over. Tomorrow, back to school.
But no, it ain't simple as that. Tomorrow marks the first day of the last semester of my school life. Isn't it scary? I am graduating in half a year - actually less.
Don't really feel prepared and ready yet, for this exciting and life changing year ahead. But i've decided to start making my list and praying for it. It's time to make some new year resolutions too.
Right now, i shall go rest my tired eyes. I swear its all those durians, making me so lethargic. I just keep falling asleep.

Beware of hidden cameras.

I am feeling so angry with myself.
I saw a bloody pervert today and i bloody hell did nothing.
Around 6pm this evening, i was on the escalator, coming up from bugis mrt station into bugis junction.
Standing beside me, was this teenage boy, at most 17 years of age. Clad in berms, a white polo-tee and sneakers, he couldn't look more normal. As i was starring emptily into space, i suddenly noticed that the guy kept looking downwards. At first, i thought he was checking for dirt on his white sneakers. Then, i realised that he was actually looking at the comic book he was holding on his left hand. It wasn't till i took a third look, did i realise that he had a camera phone hidden beneath his comic book. Protruding out of the corner of the book, was the camera lense!
I was shocked into disbelief.
I looked in front of the boy and then everything fell into place. The girl standing a step above him on the escalator was wearing a miniskirt and he was filming her from below!
BLOODY PERVERT.
All these observation took placed within the short escalator ride which probably lasted about 10 seconds. By the time i finally gathered myself to react, we were already off the escalator.
So, i did the second best i could.
I followed the boy.
He took another flight of escalator. I was just hoping and hoping that he would find another target and i would catch him red handed this time. But no. He went up, up, up, right up to the top floor and quickly went into the toilet.
I think by then, he already realised that i was following him and so he decided to take cover in the toilet. I didn't know what to do, so i went to the girl's loo too.
I thought to myself, i must do something.
Coincidentally, when i came out of the restroom, he strolled out too. I followed him fiercely this time round, i didn't care that he knew. In fact, i wanted him to know. I caught up with him and starred hard into his face. He pretended he didn't see me. Then, he quickly maneurvered through the crowd and i lost him.
ARGHHHH.
I felt so stupid afterwards upon reflection that i did nothing. Nothing at all. So my friends, i am posting this blog entry for two reasons:
1) If you ever suspect anyone secretly and pervertly fliming anyone, please do not be afraid and just scream at him. Stop him and slap him if you have to. At least he wouldn't dare go around doing it again. The most you could lose, is nothing but some self embarrassment.
2) Girls, please be careful when you are out in your supershort and sexy miniskirt, scaling up the escalators. I know you think singapore is safe. But please, it isn't pervert free.
ARGGHHH.
I am still angry. Have decided that i am gonna hang around bugis more and look out for every girl going on escalators.
To all those sick perverts: You won't go around scot-free forever. Please stop your perverted act before you end up in jail.

Haiyo!!!! You won't believe how long i took to upload this bunch of pictures. Blogger is so annoying thanks to the new googleblog thing. I can't use my old program which uploads pictures so easily now! Annoying...uploading pictures is now such a big fat chore.
Boo. Alright alright, i shan't spoil the cheeriness of my coming post.
Anyway, it's time for some photo recap! Back to my 22nd birthday (my gosh i can't believe everything is going downhill now). Anyways, it was a fun filled day, all the way from 12midnight to the following 11pm. We were both tired out by the end of the celebration.

 Promptly at 12 midnight, i was surprised !
 Err..home-made "brownie-cake". haha  Let me cut through this thick chunk of chocalate!  As if it wasn't fattening enough, we went on to Jalan Kayu for Tau-huey.  Have you seen any other couple as unglam as us?!  In the morning, after a homemade pancake breakfast, dearie brought me to wild wild wet!  I was just thankful that the rain stopped.  Let's get those clothes off and jump in!  What's better than ben&jerry's ice-cream after a day under the sun?!  And he stole some of my chunky monkey too!  Then it was dinner time! He secretively brought me to "My secret Garden"  Trying to look cool!  This was the lobster bisque. And we had salad, chicken and steak!  Yum Yum. Can't wait to tuck in!  The hungry one!  My medium rare steak. Could have been bloodier though.  One last picture to end off the night. We were both tired out thanks to wild wild wet!
