Hiayo..the Paris Hilton song is stuck in my head! Just heard it on the radio and it's the kinda song that stays?
It's quite nice actually (ok, i know i sound like a loser for saying that).
Sings: " I can make you nice and naughty, be the devil and angel too. Got a soul and heart and body.........baby i'm perfect for you..."
And so, i went to google the mtv for it. And haha. Pretty much what i imagined it to be. A low cost production definately.
It basically involved Paris, cuteguy with hotbod and a secluded beach. So let's see...when you place Paris, cuteguy with hotbod and a secluded beach together, what do you get? Hmmm...-ponders-
Haha. Throughout the video, there were 3 kinda scenes:
1) Paris with knees and palms on the sand(like those tiger beer calendar girls) making sultry faces at the camera while the waves wash up and down the beach.
2) Paris caressing herself and tossing her beautiful blond hair around (who the hell really does that at the beach?!).
3) Cuteguy caressing Paris, checking out her flawless and fatless form OR paris caressing cuteguy checking out his flawless abs.
Haha. Not a video for the weak ones! Video ain't my cuppa tea but i kinda like the song..fun and flirty, totally Paris.

I just had a sudden revelation.
Maybe it's because i got water baptised today. I'll devote a whole new entry to my baptism once i get the pics.But now, i just want to talk about something else.
Maybe it was an answer that was obvious from the start, maybe i was just too blind to see. But now, i've seen, i've chose to believe and i choose to act upon my belief. I hope the change comes soon, then maybe this whole big mystery on Happiness would just become oh so transparent.
I really don't like messing things up, especially when they are going good. I don't like putting pressure, i don't like being pressured. Somethings you just swallow (and i'm not talking abt zoe tay's new ad here). Just blink and it's over. There really isn't anytime to harp on stuff when life is so short and there's so much to be done.
So much to be done.
Like write my article, come up with my fyp ideas, get my readings done..but guess what? Guess i'll just stick to re-watching my gilmore girls. The gilmores make me happy. I've never been happier without them.
Everybody finds solace in someone or something. I found mine in Gilmore Girls.
Feeling so extremely fat now. I am officially a kg heavier after the food tasting for my sis' big day. Ten course dinner. Yumyum! And the bloody calories i shan't go into that now.
Gonna wake up early to run tmr, before i head off for school.

A new life.

And so...the long awaited baptism is happening....TOMORROW! or rather later in the afternoon.
This is the third time i am trying to get myself water baptised and so, i am really praying and hoping that everything will proceed smoothly tmr!
When i think of getting water baptised, i always have this image of dying to my old self and coming up the water anew. It's like a second chance, a fresh start. How often do you get that?
What shall we say then? shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Therefore we werew buried with him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin. - Rom 6:1-7
So tmr is a big day for me!
What's best is, the most important people of my life will all be there! Mom, dad, sis, ah jam, dearie, my cg! How blessed!

Haiya, it's friday but i so don't feel the jolly mood of it.
Am bogged down by this piece of writing i have to get done. Been putting it off again and again but i keep feeling guilty for not sitting down and seriously work on it. But! i just can't seem to get enough motivation to get started. Even when i start, i spend an hour writing like 2 paragraphs which i think suck anyway. Boo.
Quite alot of stuff happened this week. All good! Suddenly things seem to be going my way! yay! haha.
But i am having PMS. It's here..it's so damn obvious. I really hate pms. Hate it to the core. If there's a pill that can get rid of it, i'll seriously take it. Boo.

And so, because dearie was involved in the ndp, i got 2 tickets to the parade on the actual day! Together with my fav cousin boon, we conquered the crowds and got great seats for the most coveted show of the year! In ang-bao red and equally striking moods, we sat in the national stadium for the last time. It was the 4th time i went to the parade but for boon, it was his first! All thanks to me! haha. Enjoy the pictures!
On 9th Aug, dearie and i also celebrated our 8th month anniversary. We were supposed to watch the fireworks together but circumstances didn't allow. Thankfully, we watched it on 10th aug instead, so whatever suayness we incurred because we didnt watch the fireworks together on our anniversary was erased! According to my theory at least..haha.

Happy birthday my dearest bestfriend!!!!!!!! According to you, our friendship started when i first pinched your butt! I remember the days when we were in *St. Nicks, me looking real cool with pong pong hair and fei fei's figure and you look equally cool in your thick glasses, braces and pong pong hair. I think we've both come a long long way, inside and out.
I remember our first outing to the beach, the day when we all burnt our 16 year old's skins. The day we went back to class and looked like a bunch of monkey asses. I remember our JC friday outings, when we roamed the streets of orchard in our cool uniforms. I remember how we both found the magic of rebonding. I remember how we all got into university, me and ame together and you and xiaoli together. I remember our first thailand trip, our first ping pong show. Have you mastered the skill of blowing out the candles yet? I remember the day you & xiaoli found out you got into CE, the day when it seems that phua chu kang boots would be a big part of your lives. I remember missing you in the states and then missing you when you went to hong kong. I remember the last five birthdays spent together and i pray for more to come!

Birthday binge party!

Happy 41st Birthday Singapore!
I was at the National Stadium today, in a glorious red tshirt, a singapore cap, my "made in singapore" tattoo, holding on to a miniature Singapore flag and singing out the anthem loud and proud. Pictures will be up when i get them from Boon this weekend!

And so today's menu was horrible. I went out of control AGAIN. These binge sessions are coming in fairly frequently these days. I MUST go run tomorrow! No more deliberation!
I had:
- 2 rice kwehs in the morning
- chicken rice and vegetable for lunch
- one huge bowl of water melon for tea
- $1 roadside ice-cream w rainbow bread before ndp
- a bag of fried peas during ndp
- McDonald's fillet-o-fish meal for dinner.
What more do i need to say....??? I am disappointed with myself. I have no self-control.
Anyways, school has officially started! It hasn't exactly sinked in yet...not yet..but it SHOULD soon! I have three days of classes, the earliest day is on friday at 1.30! Hurray hurray, no more early mornings. But still...will be busy with FYP pretty soon.
Alrighty, gonna hit the sack for now. Pray that my left eye's ok. Nite.

I feel like i'm on cloud nine.
Surreal.
What am i doing? Nothing much at all.
My room's glowing with an orange tint, a single lamp.
I'm on my swirly chair, legs folded.
Coldplay's oozing from my speakers, bouncing off the walls.
Dilbert's on my screen, aweing its readers.
All these, thanks to my wonderful cough syrup.
I'm high.
Was supposed to be in bed after taking my medicine. But mom came home at 12am with dinner and my growling stomach gave in. Now i'm wide awake, living it out.
I just had a crazy thought. If i get really rich one day, i can start paying people to do stuff for me. I can pay people to do my laundry, wash my dishes, chauffeur me around, drill morals into my kids, water my daises, steam my favorite fish just the way i want it etc..
Then....i figured.
If the equation is right and you can pay anyone to do anything, i can probably pay people to make me run! Make me run not as in hire a trainer to motivate me to run. Make me run as in hire people to carry my fat thighs and bring them forward step by step? I'll be a godzilla and they'll all be tiny people at my legs carrying my thunderous thighs. And i won't just hire the beefcakes to carry my precious thighs but i'll hire the scrawny lads. While they're panting away making me "run", i'll tell them :"The thighs that don't kill you makes you stronger."
See, the magic of cough syrup, it gives you the magical ability to utter nonsensical nonsense that's a tad worse than the usual nonsense.

The heat.

Finally managed to meet up with the CS girls last week! It's been forever since i last saw them. Everyone is pretty much the same, which is good good, cause they were cool to start with. Anyway, school's starting all over again next week, so we'll be seeing alot more of each other in far far away Boon Lay!
Been in a foul mood recently and i had no idea why till i came down with a fever on sunday. Think the weather or something got to me. I was constantly screaming that the place is too hot! A fever that keeps coming back and forth, crap, not dengue right.
Am currently reading a book about a family, where they have this kid who's real sick leukemia. So, the parents decided to genetically conceive a kid to be a bone marrow match for her sister. And now this kid is 13 and sueing her mom for medical emancipation. It's real sad. Read till i wanted to cry....
Anyways, it's bed time. More sleep = no fever. Hurray!
