The stars were limited but shining bright. The beach was limited but spreading wide. My energy was limited but soaring high. The time was short but brilliantly spent. Kevin and i went to ECP tonight!
Thanks to the NDP rehearsal (like how many rehearsals do you need?!), our plans for fondue at the esplanade was disrupted. Eventually decided to cab down to ecp and have yet another one of our pig out sessions. When i am out with him, we seriously do PIG OUT! 30 sticks of satay!hokkein mee!wanton mee!chicken wings!sugarcan! Gosh gosh. It may not sound like alot, but it was ALOT for 2 ppl! But oh wells..he's a big guy, and a big guy needs to keep his big stomach full. haha. And i am a big girl who needs food to cheer her up after 7 hours of crazy work at a crazy coffeeplace. Blah.
Took a stroll down the beach after dinner, and the beach was surprisingly quiet, accept for groups of bangras bbq-ing or malay couples camping. The feel was just so right, the breeze was just so good, I just needed to sit down and soak in the night. After much deliberating, we finally decided to sit on my apron, err..but not before mr dumbo does his mtv using my apron as his flying-in-the-wind scarf. haha. Oh yeah..and we just sat watching the stars, enjoying the crash of the waves, chatting. Somehow we mentioned buble's home and we ended up singing to it with my ipod playing. And then, the dumbo came up with the idea of translating the song into hokkein. Gosh. And we just sat there on the quiet dark beach singing a hokkein ballad about wanting to "deng chu (go home)" haha.
Oh wells, words can't describe the night, but i really had a good time despite my fatigue level and my aching feet. Thanks for the company :)
On another note, i am officially going maidless tmr. Yes, sunny's going home. Of course i am happy for her to finally see her family after so long, but i wonder what's gonna happen to my life. I've had a maid since i was 2 i think? Gosh, it's been 19 years. Almost 2 decades. My family always had periods of maidlessness whereby we try and make it on our own. But they never really lasted long before we get into too many quarrels about who should do what, and of course satisfying my mom's level of cleanliness really ain't easy. So this time, i am wondering if we are really gonna go maidless or just gonna go maidless for AWHILE. I am hoping AWHILE. But mom's saying FOREVER. Err..alright. Sis's trying to convince them to not buy a dryer and a dishwasher because buying those stuff prob means we are REALLY gonna go maidless. Haha. Shall see how it all turns out.
Ok lar, ok lar, tired man. CG tmr at 1130am. Gosh, can't sleep in again. And school starts officially on monday?! Blah.

Bestfriend woke up with a lovebite on her neck!

And so, it was C.H.A.M's sleepover last night! I am so super efficient i've uploaded the pictures already!haha. Anyways, we had a great time, i hope girls? We didn't do anything outrageous, we didn't get super high, we didn't play spin the bottle (to bestfriend's disappointment) but we had another one of those great times you can only have with your great galpals! haha.
We didn't have great alcohol, because we were cheapskate. We didn't eat the thumb brand peanuts, because ame refused to let us buy it. BUT! We made our first ever fondue! We had tons of calories! We bloated our tummies with bad beer! We burped like nobody's business! We acted like a buncha school girls!
We took quite a long time trying to figure what to buy for our fondue, the bananas they were selling at NTUC wasn't ripe, and i don't eat kiwis and strawberries! So we were thinking longan ( to relive our longan and milo moments in thailand). In the end, we compromised and had preach and ruffles. Err..at first the chips tasted bad, but soon, it was actually pretty good. Haha, maybe i should recommend it to coffeeclub, and maybe they'll give me a payraise??? haha.
Alrighty, actually, nothing much to blog lar, check out the pictures for yourselves. I am gonna sleep now, gettting sleepy..church tonight. Am supposed to be writing now actually...blah. But i'm tired.
Oh yah, did i mention bestfriend woke up with a red patch on her neck?!

Woaho! At xiaoli's house now. She is trying to sleep while the threee of us are bumming around checking out james' gf's blog. Omigosh. SHUTUP BESTFRIEND! you are horrible at consoling others! But then again, whats there to console? It's been so long! and we are having fun every wednesday at lady's night without ame right??? hahah. OH wells. But since ame is breaking up with darren soon, CHAM is gonna go clubbing together real soon. Like real soon! Ame drank so much she is fat and blotted, but when she is fat she is still skinny. My feet's sore. The heels really aren't a good choice to be standing and walking around in for seven hours. Should i spend the money to buy a nice comfy pair of shoes? -ponders-
Saw a college classmate today. He called out to me and we chatted for quite abit. It's weird how the both of us has changed. I think we both seem better. Don't you think? 2 yrs. I've grown. Into a better person, i think.
This indian female manager at work is really getting to me a little. She started calling me darling before i even knew her name. And then she kept asking me to do small favors. And then today i felt her hand linger on my back for a longer than comfortable time. I hope i am just being too sensitive. Let's see how it goes. If she's really doing funny stuff, yikes!
It's funny how i missed you so terribly much at work today. Memories kept running through my mind. Why wasn't it worth it?
I felt a little lost trapped in a huge building after office hours today. With tired feet and slumped shoulders, i remembered the times when i had someone to bring me home to my comfort zone and put me to sleep. I'll kill to fall asleep in your arms tonight.

Day went by in a swish! Now what's left is for me to dread work tomorrow. Boo. Not a good attitude i see. When i'm working, i dread it. And whenever i am not working, i dread having to work soon. See, horrible.
Anyways, had a satisfying (err..perhaps over-satisfying) sakae lunch with boon. As usual the two HUGE eaters ate ALOT. Food is a huge part of my life. It's official, i love to eat, and i live to EAT. So what if i am fat? I am enjoying my food. But please don't let me get any fatter, because that will hinder me from loving to eat my food because it is impossible to survive in singapore as a DISGUSTINGLY FAT girl. No offence to anyone who is disgustingly fat though. Just don't think of yourself as one, then you won't be one? err. Anyways, i hate it when girls who aren't fat insists that they are fat. Or flabby. Cause me and my hk sista don't care if you guys think you are obese because you are far from that and so stop rubbing it into the fats of bridget jones' size girls like us. Screw you skinny punks. haha. Alright, i am not that into weight, but i just got carried away over there. haha.
Anyways, a really hilarious conversation i had with my hk sista:

Me: eh, no lar, you think i'm scandalous and horny like you ah? haha.
A: eh please, but i swear i will sleep with my ex just to let his girlfriend find out and dump him, and then i will dump him too.

A: eh, my friends actually think you are quite pretty you know?!

A: err...actually i haven't realised that! not even now!

Yes, the moral of the story is, she was SCREAMING on a busy subway in CROWDED hk. haha. Hilarious i tell you, and honestly, you aren't that fat lar! Please, we are just chubbily cute. haha.

As usual, i left the place feeling alot. But not as much as when i did the interview with the blind artist.
