It's a boy! ________________________________________________________________
I need to lose weight.

I've gained 3kgs since i started working. The 3kgs' kinda alright, it's the way i'm eating that's scaring me. There's no control no more.

My stomach has expanded, because i'm eating like there's no tmr. I eat to relax, i eat to enjoy, i eat after work, as my favorite activity.

I want to restart my diet, but the motivation's not there. I need another wedding to spur me on.

Anyway, i shall try eating less from tmr. Go mav go. You can do it.

Anyway, some good news:

My sister's PREGNANT!

We've known it for awhile already so it's actually late news. Haha, but just last tuesday, she found out that it's a boy!

I'm so excited and happy for her :) Looking forward to meeting my baby nephew who's gonna be exactly 24 years my junior, i'm bloody 2 cycles older than him. haiyo.

I'll be an aunt soon :) gotta go shopping for baby clothes!

Alrighty, hula time. Night night.

The day off. ________________________________________________________________
You know you need a tan, when your dad suspects you have jaundice.

One afternoon, my dad was giving me a lift to one of my interviews.

Dad: eh, how come you look so yellowish?

Me: Ah?!

Dad: - inspects my arm- How come you look so yellowish?!

Me: Huh, you mean i look pale?

Dad: No, yellowish.

Me: - stunned silence-

Dad: look so unhealthy, you ok not?

Goodness. My dad thinks i have jaundice. Do adults get jaundice too?!

And so anyway, i went for a tan today after being inspired from that conversation with dad. The sun was deliciously sunny and i woo, how i miss those school days when i could always go for a swim whenever i wanted to.

These days you gotta prioritise what you want to do on your days off. Any minute spent idling, is a wasted minute.

And so today, i had a really fulfilling day.

12pm: just woke up! woohoo. managed to sleep this late, rather rare recently.
12-1pm: breakfast of tea and toast while i devoured the morning paper.
1pm-1.45pm: Ironing. blah.
1.45pm-3pm: Tanning by the pool while i dig through the papers for story ideas.
3pm-4pm: Shower + chips + scrabble + checking out where to go for dinner.
5pm-6.30pm: facial at mom. ouch!
7pm-9pm: ma-la hotpot with dearie!
9.10pm-10.30pm: pool!

Yea. And so you see, i had a really packed day, but i enjoyed every minute of it. Ok, maybe not the ironing. But the tan was great, the facial was great. Did the diamond peel - meaning they use this machine encrusted with diamond bits to scrub off the dead skin from your face. It's a slightly painful process but the end result is amazing.

Then the dinner was good too. Spicy but not crazy spicy, and woo the tons of bee i had. And then we played pool, haha, the table was too damn big.

The best part was, when we got to Yio Chu Kang, it was raining, pouring actually. But the mood felt so nice and right, that's why people say rainy days are romantic days. I agree for once, usually the rain just spoils my plans and mood.

Anyway, shall go hula a little and then it's time for yet another tiring week at work.

Adios!

The Alienworld

Holiness redefined

Gorgeousness redefined

Pleasure redefined

Lyric of the month

Travis - Flowers in the Window

There's no reason to feel bad
But there are many reasons to feel glad, sad, mad
Its just a bunch of feelings that we have to hold
But i am here to help you with the load.

Wow look at you now
Flowers in the window
It's such a lovely day
And i am glad that you feel the same
Cause to stand up i'm in the crowd
You're one in a million
And i love you so, so lets watch the flowers grow.
