Let the CHAM begin.

 CHAM is leavinggggg on a Jetplaneeeee! The long awaited grad-trip is finally here. This trip also marks our tenth-year friendship. So, we're gonna have a bang-bang graduate trip filled with plenty of fun and excitement. Woohoo.
Highlights include:
- possibility of getting lost on the road (our first roadtrip together)
- possibility of getting into a bitch fight (like in amazing race)
- possibility of bungee-jumping ( like our lives don't mean a thing)
- possibility of water-rafting ( like the winter lakes wouldn't freeze our butts off)
- possibility of getting picked up in clubs ( hey, we're the exotic asian babes haha)
- possibility of eating packed sandwiches for lunch everyay ( like we aren't afraid of carbo)
- possibility of spending way too much ( like we have that much to spare)
Yes, so you'll see, it's a trip with lots to look forward to. Please wait for my updates! :)

The Check.

And so, part of our fyp got printed :) Good good. Made it to the news!
Anyways, i have to relate my experience at the doctor's yesterday. It was the worst ever.
As part of the job requirement, i had to undergo a procedural medical checkup prior to starting work. And so, i dutifully went to the medical clinic at raffles place yesterday.
After peeing into a bottle for the urine check, stripping off my top and bra for an x-ray scan, i thought the worst was over. Nah-ah. A nurse kindly told me that part of my checkup includes a breast examination and because the only female nurse of the HUGE clinic was out for lunch, i should go for lunch too and come back 45 minutes later. And so i did just that.
45 minutes later, i was back at the clinic. I continued waiting...
45 minutes later, i was still waiting.
For most who know me well, patience aint exactly my virtue. And so when the nurse finally called, i was already half mad. And then she had to break the news.
"sorry, our only female doctor had to rush off for a meeting. Are you ok with letting a male doctor do the check? Or do you want to come back tomorrow?"
WAT THE....
And so, the next thing i know, i was on the doctor's table, with a towel draped across my bare chest.
This 30+ year old doctor then shifted the towel, revealing my right breast. With his gloved hands, he went on to do the check around my entire breast before repeating the same steps for the left breast. Throughout the entire process, he maintained a casual conversation, asking if i ever give myself breast examinations while i gave short answers, never once looking him in the eye.
Yikes. The ordeal. It was an innocent affair but yet, i felt so grossed out.
After the checkup, i whined to my mom, hoping to get some comfort. Alas, she only warned me to future gynae checks which are a 1000 times more humiliating.
AM SO NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT.

Paris Hilton is going to Jail!
Somehow, i can't believe it. Deep down, somewhere far back in my brain, i believe that these notorious stars somehow get their way out of these law orders. Paris Hilton in jail?!?! Didn't you watch simple life? How's she gonna cope without the PAR-TY-ING?! But then again, she's prob gonna use those smokey eyes of hers to good use on the police guards. Haha. we shall see.
Anyway, research for NZ mostly done. Except for the maps here and there, we're about set? Haven't started packing yet. We're supposed to pack two weeks of winter clothings into one tiny luggage? Like how lar.
This week is a busy busy one for me. Loads of things to settle before flying off. The freelance work to complete and the medical checkup and paperwork for the new job :) Unfortunately, part of the job contract states that we aren't supposed to moonlight, so i'll have to stop these sneaky ways of making money real soon. Sigh...
Alrighty, gonna go do my roller soon. Those briefly defined abs are getting increasingly obscure.

The job search is officially over. Heehah! :) Am really glad that everything is falling into place and settled before i leave for NZ. Thanks god. So for now, all i need to do is some medical checkup, a little paper work and fully enjoy my holidays! No more anxiety.
Am getting a little lazy with the exercising these days. since the exams, getting myself to go running has been harder than before. Ran twice this week but still, didn't feel extremely motivated while doing so. And...the things i'm eating...uhhh...
Mon: friedfish noodles + kaya waffles + fried rice
Tues: Creamy pasta + giant seafood dinner
Wed: Fish and Co!
Thurs: Creamy pasta + real McCoy chips!
Fri: Yummy home cooked dinner at bestfriend's + 3/4 can of pringles
Sat: Fish and chips!
OMG...like what's wrong with me? Blah.
Alrighty, better go catch up on my hula time before two weeks of no-exercise in NZ.

An unexpected job offer came my way today. Unexpected but good.
It's so weird to be praying hard for one thing, neglecting another, and then another comes popping by, tantalising you.
