Man...i'm feeeeeeling so sad.
Just watched two episodes of gilmore girls. Luke and lorelai just broke up. It was so unnecessary! Why would two people who loves each other so much break up because of one little mistake. Goodness. And this woman who never ever cries because of a man is now glued to her bed with a tear stained face because she misses him so much. Man...felt like crying when i was watching too. And when she called him out of desperation, he came rushing over. see, see, see??? why break up! Annoying.

She had no choice but to sit beside the ah pek. With an inch between, they sat quietly next to each other for the next 40 minutes. Looking through the window, everything was so familiar.
It wasn't too long before, when they took the route every wednesday night. After class, hand in hand, she'll follow him up that double decker bus. For weeks, she can't even remember the bus number. There's no need to when you have someone looking out for you, is there?
The sights and sounds were familiar. Patches of black, that familiar odour. Startlingly similar. Perhaps she was just being oversensitive, perhaps it's just yet another bus ride. But it didn't feel that way.
A sense of longing fills when you have that void to fill. When the night gets dark and the world surrounds you, overwhelming. What do we crave? Companionship.
Loud and rough, big and sloppy, grouchy and nutty. Doesn't sound too perfect. Because she ain't. Sometimes she think she has been good. But maybe she hasn't.
Some genuine concern, love, attention and sacrifice. Tough.
But when the going gets tough, shouldn't the tough get going?

It's been quite awhile since i've had some time alone at home.
Feels funny to come home and realise that it's only 7.30pm. Last weekend i swore to myself i'll give myself a break this week. Just kick back and relax alittle. So back i came, checked some mails, got some music going and took a nice long shower. Went on to laze around a little before i got bored and decided to go munch on my pathetic pack of chai peng from tpy. And now it's only 9.27pm, the night is still young. Woohoooo.
Had lunch with dearie today at billybombers. 1-1 herb crusted chicken with chunky chips all washed down with a creamylicious cookies-n-cream milkshake.
Am so afraid my diet will all go to waste soon. Gonna go run tmr. Run baby run. Somehow oct seems frightfully far away...i can't pound back those pounds.
And so the good news came in yesterday. Think i'm going kashmir with the school team to do some reporting. Ain't sure that it's confirm cause it sounds too easy, just an email and that's it?! Aren't everyone fighting for this? But i pray that it's true...kashmir. Goodness. How cool is that. Somewhere dangerous, somewhere scarily real. Great photos waiting to be shot.
At work, it's been boring. We've got another new feature writer on the team. Just joined us this week. And i was told by the editorial manager that i'll have to shift to a secluded table a couple of metres away to make room for the new beauty writer that's gonna join the team. Suddenly so many new people coming! I am feeling negligible. Haiyo. The first month was so good. They were out of ppl and everyday i had so much to do. Now it's just a long boring wait. We wait for the end of the day, we wait for the end of internship. Crap. Far from what i expected. Still love going for events though. Meeting strangers and talking to them, going sourcing a.k.a shopping and returing good. I see the catch in the job. :)
Pretty long post for the day. Back to my teeVee.

Funerals are weird. They take you through a whirl of emotions.
Seeing a lifeless body lying pale on a bed is heart wrenching. It makes you think, it makes you cry. Someone who's been there for your whole life suddenly disappears into thin air. Back to where she came from.
Long days and nights of doing nothing much stones you.
Happy cousins, innocent children, running in their little paradise. Brings a smile to your face.
Baby cousins smiley and frowning, seeking the attention that they truely deserve. Brings a dream into the future.
Catching up with aunts and uncles and cousins i haven't found the time nor the effort to talk to. Suddenly it's like the old days. When we were all young and cheery, when we run around and sweat, when we fall and we cry, when we laugh till tears sting our eyes. We always used to give our all. We fight for toys, we fight each other and then we eventually learn to share. Then we're suddenly all grown up. Too embarrassed to be too honest. Politely distant.
You came into this earth, bringing this whole family together. And now you leave, bringing us all together again. More than what we started with.
Tears, smiles, laughter, memories. You'll always be our grandma.

Firstly, the Christian is made righteous through his faith in Jesus Christ. But to Jesus, that inward righteousness is not completed until there is this outward act of obedience. Thus, my decision to take the plunge.
Am going with expectancy! Born again..how often do you get to do that? An excellent priviledge if you ask me :)

It's a really good deal!!! Any takers?
It'll be way cool to revisit LA exactly one yr since i've been back! Imagine up with all the peeps, attending church with them, meeting baobei and gang, meeting ah bang, strolling down santa monica, eating at pasadena, shopping at beverly centre, ice cream at coldstone, breakfast and supper at denny's, dinner at olive, jamba juice EVERY day, heading up to vegas, finally being able to sit at a table and bet just for the heck of it, speak in my funny accent and really catch up with all those people whom i've missed so badly...awww.
Man. I really want to do that. Can i afford it???
