An anti-social moment.

Hey, i have no idea how anti-social i can be. I amazed myself again today. Was at work today, busily trying to get all the press releases to come in so that i can work from home during the long weekend. And so it was 3.30pm when the editorial assistant a.k.a auntie started asking prepping everyone to head down to level 5 for tea.
I pretended not to hear her ( cause i was wearing earphones).
Her: Eh mavis, go down already.
Me: - silence-
-silence-
-mavis!-
Me: -pretending to take off REALLY LOUD earphones- yes?
Her: go down level 5 already.
Me: huh for what?
Her: for tea! you didn't read email ah?
Me: no..(though i did)
And so i pretended to head down when i was actually heading to the toilet. When everyone was gone, i went back to my desk and called all the people i needed to call. Ahh...i like it when the office is quiet like that. But i was quite shocked by my anti-socialness. I mean any other day, i prob wouldn't do that, but today i was just feeling extremely anti-social!!! Haiyo...badbadbad. Just wanted to get all my stuff done so i could get gotta the place and i really do hate making small talk!
Anyways, have been eating hell alot lately cause my bloody period is coming.
Menu of the week:
- long john silvers
- thai green curry
- pasta mania
- kenny rogers
- hokkien mee
Also, i've been eating way too much carbo. One night, i went home and was shocked to realise what i ate for the day: 1.5 slice bread w kaya, 1 dao sa pau, 2 breadtalk buns. CRAP.
Need to run!
Anyways, something exciting: I GET TO VOTE!!! the yr i turn 21, i get to vote! Way cool.
Dad told me he hasn't voted since we moved into our current apartment. That was since i was p5! A full 10 yrs! WOOHOO.
Alrighty, long weekend ahead. Sis' birthday today. :) 27 already! Haiyo.

Wah! I haven't checked out friendster in a long while. Haha, went on and everyone has like tons of new pictures! I miss seeing all the familiar places back in LA! i see them having wild parties, taking crazy shots. Man, where's that life?
Baobei has a new gf! Apparently she's from taiwan. P called me the other day, all excited and annouced that he brought her to the church's easter lunch. Haha. Hilarious. But baobei denies it. But being the player that i know he is, he's definately got the girl!
Anyway, for all the friends who are having exams, hang in there! It'll all be over soon! For all the friends who are on internship, hang in there too, it'll all be over soon!
It's nice to know sometimes when you hit the bottom, because everything will be going up soon! What comes down, must go up! Right?
It's that time of the month again. moodswings~ Is it true that the older a woman gets, the more emotionally stable she becomes? I hope so!

Why do people never get enough. Why do people always complicate things. Why don't everyone just make things easier for others and themselves. Why must people compromise. Why must people fight. Why must people argue. Why don't everyone love each other. Why is this world so hard to be in.
Ugly clothes, dirty slippers, big hair and a pasty face. That's me every morning, on my way to work. I look like shit so perhaps that's why sometimes i feel like shit.
Freedom needs to be re-defined. Break it all up and then piece it all back together again to form some kind of a weird chemical bond. People need to be rebuilt again. Wash away all their emotions and then be allowed to re-live again.
Some things ain't that important. Some people ain't that important. And you wonder why you bother to make sacrificies, when indeed you don't really care.
Sometimes you want to scream at those strangers. Who come crashing as if they're your closest buddies. Shit you go away. Ah-hah! Anger is redefined. Boldness is redefined. You are redefined.
Honestly, who cares what others think, because at the end of the day, what's most important is whether you are happy within.

A week of craziness.

Woohoo! It's been a crazy week.
1) My mom got so sick we had to send her to A&E on wed night.
2) I've been running around trying to get dearie's birthday surprise done!

Just watched an episode of gilmore girls. Rory was moving into yale, leaving home for the first time and trying to cope with being alone. Kinda felt like the time when i left home for the first time to move into ntu 'cept ntu's alot smaller and less prestigious. Haha.
At least i had ame with me at that time and it wasn't that scary.I remember me dragging her down to the bball courts to shoot some hoops at like 12mdnight when we were both so bad at it. I remember us heading over to hall 2 just to buy twisties off the vending machine. I remember how i'll always persuade her to go get us dinner so we won't miss our 7pm christopher lee and michelle saram show (cause she insists that i walk so slowly!). Haha. Those were the days.
Am gonna go watch another episode now. Hoho. Basking in gilmore bliss. Dearie's doing work. I miss my dearie.
